Pin-Drop is your personal location-based journal. Drop a pin at your location to help remember what you saw or experienced, and add a name, a note, and pictures. Want to get back to the pin later on? Easily search through your list of pins and then ask for directions.
Here are some of the ways you can use Pin-Drop:
- You travel to a new town and hop on a bus tour to get the lay of the land. Drop a pin as you pass points of interest, get directions later when youre planning your route, and add notes and pictures when you visit as a journal of your travels.
- Looking for a new house or apartment? As youre driving around the neighborhood, drop a pin when you find one that looks promising.
- Drop a pin at all of your favorite restaurants and then add pictures of the menu and your favorite dishes.
- Out for a walk and see a pack of coyotes or herd of javelinas? Assuming youre at a safe distance, drop a pin and snap some pictures so you can remember exactly where it happened!
- Drop a pin where you park your car to avoid wandering around aimlessly when you try to find it again.

When youre out and about just tap your Apple Watch to drop and pin and dictate a name for it. The pin will sync to your iPhone where you can add a note and pictures. You can also view a list of pins on your Apple Watch and choose one to navigate to.
For the easiest and quickest way to drop a pin, turn on the Glance in the iPhone Apple Watch app.

I press save but the note is not saved... Want my few bucks back...
I love this app so much. The only things I can think of adding are Folders to sort the pins. And maybe being able to save individual Maps with specific pins
My use of this app maybe somewhat unusual. We have 160 acres of pastureland in Colorado. It is my job to kill noxious weeds. I drive around the pasture in my four wheeler and pin the spots where I find and spray weeds such as Canadian thistle. Now I can return to those places to see if I got them all. How cool is that? One tip: be sure to have your location in the center of the screen before dropping the pin. Pins can be moved but sometimes it isnt easy. Sometimes it is easier to delete that pin and place it again. I love the option of a satellite view. In a future update I would appreciate being able to choose a variety of colors for the pins. Thank you so much for this app!
I love this app and I hope for different colored pins in the future !!
Nothing special about this app. Save your money and use either Google Maps or iOS maps as an alternative. Although it was on $.99 I still feel jipped.
